THE LNSO OVERWHELMING VOTE TO KEEP CHICHON AS THEIR FUTURE CHIEF CONDUCTOR
Last week 100% of the musicians of the LNSO exercised their democratic vote to choose their future new Chief Conductor. The result of the voting was an overwhelming majority to keep Karel Mark Chichon as their Chief Conductor.

Ilze Paidere-Stake commented “it has been a long time since such an overwhelming majority of votes was ever secured for past Chief Conductors of the LNSO. What it proves is that the LNSO musicians recognise the work and the results of Mo Chichon and what that to continue. More importantly it shows that the LNSO musicians believe that this conductor is the right choice for their future and that he believes in the orchestra and will fight for their rights like no other conductor will, because Chichon feels the LNSO is an orchestra with limitless possibilities if we receive the right support”.
