Ludwig van Beethoven Triple Concerto will be performed by the Dali Trio - Vineta Sareika (violin), Christian-Pierre La Marca (cello) and Amandine Savary (piano).

The Third Symphony, on the contrary, is a musical poem celebrating a powerful and active man fighting for his ideals. The musical protagonist is a man with a diverse and rich spiritual world and a personality combining energy and power with lyricism and warmth.

This concert marks the debut in Latvia of internationally acclaimed conductor Gérard Korsten, who comes to the LNSO at the personal request of Karel Mark Chichon. Mr Korsten regularly conducts the most important orchestras in the world and is a world-renowned interpreter of the music of Beethoven. The combination of this brilliant conductor joining forces with the LNSO and our very own virtuosa Vineta Sareika promises a memorable concert!
