One such opportunity will be the LNSO season opening concert, where you will see Liepiņš deliver a brilliant interpretation of Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto No. 2, a work of untamed temperament, one of the most virtuosic piano concertos in the history of music. You will also hear Scriabin’s exciting, suggestive Symphony No. 2, composed of wistful mysticism and ecstatic beauty.
