In conclusion of the summer evening, the LNSO will meet the unparalleled and unique maestro Raimonds Pauls whose joy of life and willingness to play seem boundless. The musical get-together will be accompanied by the melodies of the miniature series Naukstauriņi (The Moths), a piano solo adapted for orchestra by the talented composer Jēkabs Jančevskis. This gentle series full of enchanting mysticism and freshness of the night will be followed by the splendour of Hollywood music, representing a very American glamour, elegance, and the golden classics of cinema.
The concert is supported by Latvia’s Centenary Programme.
Due to the current epidemiological situation, tickets can be booked in advance by contacting the ticket office of the Great Guild or Latgale Embassy GORS and indicating your name, surname, phone number and/or e-mail address, the chosen concert or set of concerts, and the preferred price range. Purchase of tickets will be made available as soon as authorisation is given to hold on-site events in summer.
