The Great Amber Concert Hall marks its tenth anniversary with a love-infused celebration: in an age of hurry, intolerance, and narrow-mindedness, we often miss real human connection, and Gurrelieder is a deeply moving testament to what profound art and ardent feeling can achieve. Rarely performed because of its colossal magnitude, it is one of the most impressive love stories of the late Romantic era, which has been played in Latvia only twice before.
