Several times a year, the LNSO Foundation invites students from all over Latvia to attend LNSO concert dress rehearsals. This is a unique opportunity for music school pupils to observe the concert‑making process, see how the conductor works with the orchestra, and understand the specifics of professional performance. After each rehearsal, the children meet with orchestra musicians and conductors — both local artists and internationally renowned stars. The interest and enthusiasm among young people is remarkable: each dress rehearsal is attended by more than 300 music school students from across Latvia.
During these visits, the LNSO Foundation also provides an additional cultural activity, as well as fruit, snacks, and lunch for both students and teachers.
