Glazunov’s gnomes have lit their fire, melted the snow and chased winter away. Tchaikovsky admires the larks and the snowdrops. Vivaldi turns goatherd and now dozes peacefully in the shade of blossoming flowers, in the twilight of the nymphs’ dance. Respighi’s birds warble and rejoice in brilliant colour. LeNeSOns, where is the wheelbarrow, where is the spade?
