Georgs Sarkisjans – the LNSO’s concertmaster since August 2015 – will step before the audience entirely alone, armed with his talent, his violin and music that is heard very rarely in Latvia. Inviting listeners to the concert, Georgs says: “There will be two Hindemith sonatas full of humour and imagination, locomotive motifs in Honegger’s brilliant and virtuosic sonata, and classic Bach to open the evening.” Intriguing music and an intelligent, accomplished, spirited soloist. We look forward to seeing you in the mysterious atmosphere of the medieval Münster Hall.
