“The Wind in the Willows” is a musical show for children staged specially for the “LNSO Summer House”.
The music is by Edgars Mākens – winner of the “Spēlmaņu nakts” award, the inspiration behind the bands “Gaujarts” and “Manta”, and a composer for productions at the National Theatre and the Valmiera Theatre.
The director is Ģirts Šolis, who stages productions at the Latvian Puppet Theatre, Dirty Deal Teatro and elsewhere, and whom we also know as the one-time leader of the popular band “umka.lv”.
The show features puppets, actors and the LNSO chamber ensemble under clarinettist and conductor Guntis Kuzma.
