The sketches of Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s “Children’s Album” let us picture a small boy on a country estate. Early on a winter morning the boy wakes up and remembers that it is his birthday. On the present table – a wooden horse and tin soldiers. It sounds like a tale of times long past. And yet no – after lunch the boy spends his time in front of the television screen, where the Discovery channel is showing the mountains of Austria, the forests of Poland, the vineyards of France and the sunshine of Naples. Then in the evening his nanny tells him a tale about a witch, to make his sleep all the more spine-tingling – and off we go, into the land of dreams!
The concert is in Russian.
Children under the age of five are admitted for 1.50 EUR, without a separate seat!
