#CONCERTTALKS WITH GORAN GORA. MOZART’S ARGUMENTS – EDUCATIONAL CONCERT FOR YOUNG PEOPLE
Thursday
19:00
Venue Lielā ģilde, Amatu iela, Central District, Riga, Latvia

We especially invite everyone who hasn’t yet felt the magic of a symphonic concert and would like to enter the world of classical music with a guide at their side. Our guide at the Great Guild is popular singer-songwriter Goran Gora, and this time he’ll have to divide his attention between a classical hit and a contemporary composition.

Swedish contemporary composer Anders Hillborg is a master of surprises, and his Clarinet Concerto Peacock Tales is a musical show where young clarinettist Anna Gāgane will have the chance to show off her talents not only as a musician but also as an actress. Meanwhile, from the classical canon, our focus this time is on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s popular Symphony in G minor, which we’re used to calling the Fortieth, and whose opening bars were, until just a few years ago, a popular mobile phone ringtone.

Stepping in front of the LNSO that evening will be Kārlis Kundrāts, who has recently begun his path as a conductor.
