In the 2018/2019 season the LNSO is presenting a series of concerts titled “Masters and Masterpieces”. The idea – several masterpieces by one composer in a single concert evening, and the first is Mozart. The programme features a virtuoso concert aria inviting souls to rejoice and pluck fragrant lilies in the blissful morning light, a harpsichord concerto composed in his teenage years, and a symphony whose power, beauty and wisdom inspired people to name this work after the mighty king of the Roman gods.
