The basis of the programme is Čiurlionis’s 1907 series of 12 paintings <em>The Zodiac</em>, transferred to sound by Čiurlionis’s great-grandson Rokas Zubovas, pianist Edgars Cīrulis, and double bass player Jānis Rubiks. We will hear works and improvisations by the young musicians, as well as Čiurlionis’s own compositions.
