He studied at the Royal Academy of Music Aarhus/Aalborg under Professor Kristian Steenstrup and at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, furthering his studies at the Conservatori del Liceu in Barcelona through the Erasmus programme.
Before moving to Latvia, Holm was Principal Trumpet of the C/O Chamber Orchestra and performed with the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Danish Opera, the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra, and the Malmö Symphony Orchestra. Alongside his performing career, he is an internationally active performance psychology coach and lecturer, leading masterclasses and mentoring professional musicians and students. Renowned for his artistry, technical excellence, and inspiring stage presence, Holm is equally dedicated to helping musicians develop confidence, resilience, and excellence in performance.
