Vineta Sareika

Vineta Sareika launched a promising career after her victory at the Queen Elizabeth International Violin Competition (2009, Belgium), and, in her capacity as a soloist, she is often invited to collaborate by high-class orchestras, such as the National Orchestra of Belgium, London Philharmonic and London Chamber Orchestra. Working with great conductors – Andris Nelsons, Paul Goodwin, Gilbert Varga and Gerard Corsten – she performs regularly not only in Europe but also in Asia, Australia and the United States.

Vineta Sareika was one of the founders of the now defunct Trio Dali; the trio won prestigious awards in competitions in Osaka, New York, Vienna and Frankfurt. The trio’s Ravel and Schubert recordings won critical accolades. Together with colleagues, Sareika has conducted masterclasses in Sydney and Melbourne, Vanderbildt University in Nashville and the Royal Music Academy in London.
