#CONCERTCONVERSATIONS WITH GORAN GORA. THE SECOND RACHMANINOFF
Thursday
19:00
Venue Lielā ģilde, Amatu iela, Central District, Riga, Latvia

As in previous years, this season the LNSO will regularly perform not only symphonic music but also chamber music concerts, and the first in this series will be the musicians’ look at the Baroque era. Two exquisite ensembles in a single concert.

Nyx Trio ladies join forces with that fine mechanic of the guitar Matīss Čudars, andBach resonates in colours never heard before, while alongside Bach there are new works by Agneta Krilova andJēkabs Nīmanis – strikingly different and intriguing. MeanwhileHandel, Tartiniand Zelenka – devotees of their music, leading LNSO players and the brilliant harpsichordist IevaSaliete – promise a decidedly virtuosic and thoroughly beautiful programme of Baroque music.

The concert programme is available here.
