On the first Saturday of April, LeNeSOn will introduce the audience to a bird they may have never seen before, whose feathers embody everything that is beautiful and protect the world. The firebird’s miraculous powers enable Prince Ivan to defeat the evil magician and rescue the princess imprisoned in his tower. Inspired by Igor Stravinsky’s famous piece, students of the Composition Department of Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music have also written their own works to be presented during the concert.
