In front of LeNeSOns lies a book of musical notes, containing Tchaikovsky’s “The Seasons” – a cycle composed for piano, originally intended for the once-popular Russian magazine Nuvellist, so that its readers could enjoy a new piano miniature each month, suited to the season. Here we find the lark’s song, snowdrops and white nights, as well as harvest time, autumn hunts and a wintery troika ride.
