2020 marks Beethoven’s 250th anniversary! LNSO takes its first step towards the great jubilee with the Triple Concerto and the popular Fifth Symphony, which opens with the famous knock of fate at the door. The Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra’s artistic director Modestas Pitrėnas becomes especially fervent in Beethoven’s symphonies, while Trio Palladio – the brightest talents of our chamber music scene – promise an unforgettable experience in their performance of the beautiful Triple Concerto.

At 18.18 in the Munich Hall a “Pre-Concert Talk” will take place, in which Orests Silabriedis and poet and Latvian Radio 1 culture journalist Toms Treibergs will discuss the views of the popular Italian writer Alessandro Baricco on shared music, the intensity of the knock of fate, and the musical (dis)talents of the aristocracy.
