PIAZZOLLA. GALLIANO. TANGO CHAMBER MUSIC CONCERT

With “Five Tango Sensations” Piazzolla writes his musical farewell. With “New York Tango” Richard Galliano remembers September 2001. With “Midnight in Riga” Arturs Maskats recalls the great love of Žanis and Johanna Lipke. The magnificent Artūrs Noviks takes up his accordion; around him gather violins and viola, cello and bass, and together they form a tango band that speaks of serious matters – and Bach, along with the Vilnius-based Latvian mystic Mārtiņš Viļums, is there with them in spirit.
