Research shows that music therapy — including harp performance — can significantly improve the organ function and breathing rate of premature infants, as well as positively influence their well‑being and quality of life in intensive care units.

Together with the Children’s Hospital, the Children’s Hospital Foundation, and LNSO harpist Ieva Šablovska, we launched a groundbreaking project in 2024 in which Ieva plays the harp several times a month for premature babies in the hospital’s intensive care units.
