Music has a healing power, which is why LNSO musicians, participating in the HOSPISS LV foundation’s project “Festive Table”, join volunteers several times a year in visiting palliative care units in hospitals across Latvia. While HOSPISS LV volunteers bring joy to patients with treats, coffee and tea, their presence, and unhurried conversations, LNSO musicians fill the hospital corridors with beautiful music, uplifting both patients and medical staff.
