Andrejs Jegorovs is a Latvian violinist who has established himself as both a soloist and chamber musician. He studied at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music under Associate Professor Terēze Zīberte-Ijaba and Georgs Sarkisjans. A laureate of several international competitions, he has been awarded scholarships from the Arkady Fomin Foundation and is a recipient of the Oļģerts Zīvers Prize. In 2020, he received the JVLMA and LMT Young Musician of the Year Award in recognition of his outstanding achievements as a soloist, chamber musician, and active contributor to the Academy’s concert life.
Alongside his career as a violinist, Jegorovs is also an accomplished pianist. He performs regularly in Latvia and abroad, appearing at festivals, masterclasses, and contemporary music projects, where he continues to establish himself as one of the most versatile musicians of Latvia’s younger generation.
