In 2025, Plaudis was appointed assistant conductor for the new production of Franz Lehár’s operetta Giuditta at the Operetta and Musical Theatre, and also became one of the production conductors for the 2025/2026 season. He currently serves as conductor of the Babīte Music School Orchestra. In 2026, together with fellow conducting students from the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, he founded the Summer Academy Orchestra.

Plaudis began his musical activities at an early age, singing in choirs and studying conducting. He sang with the Riga Cathedral Boys’ Choir and the professional chamber choir Ave Sol. As a chorister, he participated in numerous opera productions, including Georges Bizet’s Carmen, Richard Wagner’s Rienzi, and Arturs Maskats’ opera Valentīna.
