He is currently studying orchestral conducting at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music while steadily building his professional career through collaborations with Latvia’s leading musical ensembles.
Plaudis has conducted Orchestra Rīga and has worked with the Latvian Operetta Theatre as both conductor and assistant conductor. He is particularly committed to the exploration and performance of Latvian symphonic music, with a special interest in rarely performed works by Latvian composers, including the symphonies of Artūrs Grīnups, whose music he has actively promoted through performances and public discussions.
