He is also a participant of Dirigentforum Junior, a talent development programme for young conductors in Norway.
Marques has taken part in masterclasses with leading conductors such as Jorma Panula, Johannes Schlaefli, Nicolás Pasquet, Lawrence Foster, Gustavo Gimeno and Edward Gardner. He is currently studying conducting at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo with Professor Ole Kristian Ruud.
Marques has already collaborated with orchestras across Europe and beyond, including the Gulbenkian Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonietta Dresden and several ensembles in Portugal, Mexico and Hungary.
