She graduated from the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre and continued her studies in Leipzig before joining the International Opera Studios of Zurich Opera and Hamburg State Opera.
From 2011 to 2020, she was a member of the Mainz State Theatre ensemble, where she built an extensive repertoire including Tatiana, Violetta, Elisabeth, Mimì, Eva and many other major roles. Since then, she has appeared as a guest artist at such renowned houses as the Berlin State Opera, Bavarian State Opera, Vienna State Opera, Hamburg State Opera, La Scala in Milan, Frankfurt Opera, Semperoper Dresden, the Finnish National Opera and many others. Her signature roles include Salome, Chrysothemis (Elektra), Sieglinde (Die Walküre), Elsa (Lohengrin), Senta (The Flying Dutchman), Jenůfa and Marietta (Die tote Stadt).
Miknevičiūtė has collaborated with many of the world’s leading conductors, including Daniel Barenboim, Christian Thielemann, Kirill Petrenko, Simone Young and Adam Fischer, as well as renowned stage directors such as Dmitri Tcherniakov and Calixto Bieito. She has also performed at the Salzburg and Bayreuth Festivals, the Berlin Philharmonie and other prestigious international concert venues.
In recognition of her outstanding artistic achievements, she was awarded the honorary title of Kammersängerin Hamburg in 2024, confirming her place among the leading dramatic sopranos of her generation.
