On Friday, 13 May, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra’s 96th season closing concert was held on the Great Guild stage, where audiences experienced performances of works by Arturs Maskats, Henri Dutilleux and Sergei Rachmaninoff, conducted by Andris Poga. As special guest, French cellist Edgar Moreau performed together with the orchestra, playing a celebrated gem of 20th-century music – Henri Dutilleux’s Cello Concerto “Tout un monde lointain.”
