On Thursday, 5 May, at the Music House “Daile,” clarinettist Guntis Kuzma and the piano quartet Quadra invited audiences to a meeting. The concert featured Robert Schumann’s romantic Piano Quartet in E-flat major, Paul Hindemith’s Quartet for clarinet, violin, cello and piano, and a very special event awaited listeners as well – the world premiere of a new work by LNSO composer-in-residence Andris Dzenitis, “Clocks Fall Asleep Facing the Vastness.” The concert was hosted with engaging stories about the music by Orests Silabriedis.
