State limited liability company Valsts SIA “Latvijas Nacionālais simfoniskais orķestris” (Latvian National Symphony Orchestra), announces an audition for the full-time employment as concertmaster for one year with possibility for permanent position
The audition will be held at Riga Congress Hall, Riga, Krišjāņa Valdemāra Street 5:
1st round and 1st half of the 2nd round on 20 April 2026, at 12:00 (by draw)
2nd half of the 2nd round on 21 April 2026 at 13:15.
On the 2nd part of the 2nd round candidate performs the solo parts, playing them together with the LNSO.
Requirements for candidates:
- Excellent instrument proficiency, ability to perform solos at the highest level;
- Profound knowledge of the orchestra’s repertoire;
- Strong leadership skills;
- Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills;
- Experience as an orchestra concertmaster will be considered an advantage.
In order to take part in the audition, each candidate must submit:
- curriculum vitae (CV),
- motivation letter,
- copies of documents supporting educational qualifications,
- confirmation of consent to the processing of personal data.
