Moreau performs with many of the world’s leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, Los Angeles Philharmonic, New York Philharmonic, Philharmonia Orchestra, Orchestre de Paris, and Filarmonica della Scala, collaborating with conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, François-Xavier Roth, Lahav Shani, Jakub Hrůša, Andris Poga, Pablo Heras-Casado, and Manfred Honeck. A devoted chamber musician, he has appeared alongside artists including Martha Argerich, Yo-Yo Ma, Khatia Buniatishvili, Daniil Trifonov, Renaud Capuçon, Lisa Batiashvili, and András Schiff.
An exclusive Erato/Warner Classics artist, Moreau has built an acclaimed discography, including award-winning recordings of Baroque, Romantic, and contemporary repertoire. His latest album, Rococo (2024), featuring Tchaikovsky’s Variations on a Rococo Theme alongside works by Chopin, Dvořák, Rachmaninoff, and Shostakovich, received widespread critical acclaim. Since 2023, he has served as Professor of Cello at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, while continuing an active international performing career. Highlights of the 2025/26 season included appearances with the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Luzerner Sinfonieorchester, Taipei Symphony Orchestra, and recitals at the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Wigmore Hall, and Théâtre des Champs-Élysées.
