On Friday, 30 September, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra opened its 97th concert season. The programme featured LNSO’s new composer-in-residence Kristaps Auznieks’ work “Crossing,” and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Sinfonia Concertante, in which the orchestra and principal guest conductor Kristiina Poska were joined on stage by soloists – Estonian violinist Robert Traksmann and violist Santa Vizine, principal viola of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam. The second half of the concert featured Anton Bruckner’s Seventh Symphony in E major.
