INFORMATION ON REMUNERATION

​Pursuant to the requirements of Section 2, paragraph 41 of the Law on Remuneration of Officials and Employees of State and Local Government Institutions, the state limited liability company “Latvian National Symphony Orchestra” (hereinafter – LNSO) publishes data on the distribution of remuneration set for employees by position and the criteria for determining remuneration.

Employee remuneration at LNSO is paid in accordance with the Law on the Governance of Capital Shares of Public Persons and Capital Companies, the Labour Law, and the LNSO collective labour agreement and the procedure by which employee remuneration and social guarantees are determined at LNSO.

​For LNSO employees with open-ended employment contracts, the LNSO Management Board, in accordance with LNSO’s financial capacity and the approved staff list, sets a monthly salary level appropriate to each position, taking into account the following criteria:

  • the employee’s professional qualifications and work experience;
  • the content and responsibility of the work performed;
  • the level of remuneration compared to remuneration for a related occupational group in the labour market;
  • the quality of work and work results.

* For LNSO employees who receive the minimum wage, it is increased simultaneously with any increase in the state-set minimum wage.
